Blue Dream

Within the Blue.
I recall yesterday,
The past.
So far away,
Yet so close.
That time seems like a dream.
In the cold, I’m shaking.
As I search for the door.
That takes it all away.
In the rusted tower,
Everything is so distant,
And yet so close.
From here,
Can I fly?
The chains are broken,
The cage is gone.
Now only the dream remains.
Somewhere, someday.
Will you and I meet within the Blue sky.
I can still remember,
The time we all once shared.
I’m still shaking,
Even within the Blue dream.
As the bird keeps ascending.
I wonder,
Can I finally fly,
Into the Blue sky.
Under the Blue sky, your somewhere.
Above the Blue sky, somewhere is the other you.
In the cold, our forms are shaking.
The rusted wings, will no longer move.
In the dream, it’s still moving.
Turning, moving.
Flying high.
Like the ash,
Like the memories.
In the darkness, I still can’t see.
It is only the dream I see.
As the rain falls upon me.
The door is still open,
The chains are broken,
And the rusted tower,
Still stands alone.
Within the blue.
In the darkness, can you see?
The dream, as I sink into yesterday.
The rusted tower, can no longer reach the sky.
Within the Blue.
I recall yesterday,
The past.
So far away,
Yet so close.
That time seems like a dream.
In the cold, I’m shaking.
As I search for the door.
That takes me to you.
In the rain, everything is washed away.
In the sunset, goes yesterday.
As the wind, scatters the ashes.
Within the blue,
I continue to recall,
All of you.
Under the Blue sky, your all gone.
Above the Blue sky, your all somewhere.
My wings now can no longer follow.
You into the Blue sky.
Yet under the Blue sky, I sink into the dream.
And fly free, with the Blue dream.
As I pass through the open door.
I can finally fly free, in the Blue sky.
With all of you.
As this dream, this life keeps ascending.
Into the Blue Sky.
Of our Blue Dream

Waking Dream

You were here, you were there.
I saw you yet I could not see.
I as I slept, I felt awake.
As I watched the world with open eyes,
I felt lost in a dream.
In the fading light,
As I the shattered moon stares at me.
I watch countless lights dance above me,
With wings of a butterfly,
They glowed a warm gentle light.
I saw it, yet I still could not see.
What was there.
Was it real?
Or a dream?
As the lonely bird flies above,
I wonder what it sees.
As I fall into sleep,
I am lost in a waking dream.
Neither real or fake.
It appears before me.
You were here, you were there.
I saw you yet I could not see you.
I as I slept, I felt awake.
As I watched the world with open eyes,
I felt lost in a dream.
I was here, I was there.
Yet I am neither a dream nor real.
As we forever dream a waking dream.

Beneath the Summer Sun

Beneath the summer sun,
We played within the calm waves of the sea.
Forgetting life’s troubles,
Every time we smiled.
It all seemed so far away.
Like a faint dream.
A hazy memory.
Till one day it came again,
And took it all away.
Upon the wind,
The evening breeze,
We sent our dreams, our wishes,
Upon a piece of paper,
And sent it to the distant stars.
It still hasn’t come true.
Those dreams and wishes,
Of our past.
As I watched you leave,
I tried so hard to call out your name.
But it was already lost,
To the void of silence.
On that summer day,
So long ago.
We made a promise.
One we promised never to break,
Yet sadly, you are no longer here to keep it.
Upon the gentle waves,
We watched as the blue-green sea,
Turned into a mirror,
That let us sail in the sky.
And in that sky,
You promised me,
That you would always be by my side.
Beneath the summer sun,
On that day, so long ago,
Within the waves of the sea,
We promised each other,
To someday meet each other again someday.
Today, on this summer day.
Beneath the summer sun.
I stand within the calm waves of the sea.
As I let it all go, upon a piece of paper.
And watch as my wish flies away,
To the place where you now sleep.
I hope that we'll someday meet again.
