Blue

In the cold, I’m shaking.
In the darkness, I can’t see.
The Blue sky.
Rusting away, is your voice.
I can barely hear it.
The sound of breaking chains.
Caged away is our freedom.
Now our wings are too weak to fly.
Sinking into Blue, I start to dream.
As your face becomes hazy.
Like a doll, this form can’t move on its own.
In the rain, everything is washed away.
In the sunset, goes yesterday.
As the wind, scatters the ashes.
The rusted tower, is broken.
Under the sky, your somewhere.
Above the sky, somewhere is the other you.
In the cold, your form is shaking.
The rusted parts, no longer move.
In the dream, it’s still moving.
Turning, moving.
Flying high.
In the darkness, can you see?
The dream, as I sink into yesterday.
The rusted tower, is broken.
It can no longer reach the sky.
The broken chains, have opened the door.
Of the caged bird.
Under the Blue sky, your somewhere.
Above the Blue sky, somewhere is the other you.
In the cold, I’m shaking.
In the darkness, I can’t see.
In the cage, I couldn’t reach the sky.
My wings now can no longer follow.
You into the Blue sky.
Yet under the Blue sky, I sink into the dream.
And fly free, with the Blue dream.
I fly free, in the Blue sky.
With you.
As this life keeps ascending.
In the Blue Sky.
