The Gentle Wind -Lyrics

The summer wind blows as the sun starts to fall, the flowers start close and fall asleep, as the moon starts to rise. Within the gentle twilight the stars slowly come to life in the sky above, I wonder what they've seen in the distant past.
How long has it been since that summer day we saw reality's cruel truth, that I remember as if it was yesterday yet almost forgotten. Like the wind those memories of those peaceful days comes and go, bringing overflowing tears to my eyes until I can no longer see.
Oh gentle wind, please take my memories to my beloved one, before I fade away into the light that returns to white. If I have even a bit of darkness within me, then could I become a being of the twilight and stay by his side?
Oh why is it, that we must repeat this tragic history? Will I ever dream that dream again with you, will it ever become reality?
You are the darkness and I am the light of a story that only brings sorrow, we who are mostly insignificant to reality. Could we tempt this tragic story to end and never again be repeated? We who are only lights that will someday disappear like the stars.
In the summer wind I can hear voices that feel so close but are faraway, in the gentle twilight I dream of the past. Within the crystal clear sky the birds fly into the wind that takes them beyond the horizon. What do they see so high above us among the clouds?
Oh gentle wind, please take my memories to my beloved one, before I fade away into the light that returns to white. If I cannot become a being of the twilight, then I'll let my voice become one with the wind that remembers all that has happened in the past.
In the sunset, the summer haze is slowly becoming one with the moonlight. Among the flowers I sleep dreaming, of those lost summer days.
