For a brief moment in time, we feel an
emotion.
What feels like an eternity, is so brief
that to us it would be like a tiny grain of sand within time’s memory.
We build things that reach the sky,
tiny things that appear to belong to a fairy, and things that seem to last
forever.
In the universe our planet is one of
many planets that exist, our tiny beautiful blue planet.
Maybe one of the only ones that hold
sentient life, that is filled with wonders.
The life we were given is special, for
who or what gave us our life is still unknown.
But it is gift we must not waste in the
short time we have.
Time and space is quite a mystery to
us, for every time we make a new discovery we are filled with more questions than
answers.
The past is a memory, the future a
mystery a world filled with possibilities, and the present is a gift of time
that will only come once in our lives.
We are all sometimes afraid to die and
we forget how to just simply live.
We want to live forever but most of the
things in this world, will never truly last forever.
And so the one of the only things we
can leave behind are the stories of our lives, stories we made up and many
more.
The emotions we feel is something I
love, for we can feel joy and sorrow, hope and despair, pride and humility, and
many more.
Emotion is something that can last
forever, even when it’s felt for only a brief moment.
The future is unknown but for
now I'll live in the present, and cherish the short time I have in this world of ours, on our
little blue planet.
