Rusting History

In the time we've spent on this planet, the history that has become part of those forgotten days.
Still remains as a memory, a story that may disappear or remain forever until the very end.
Within this mechanical world, the turning gears are rusting away.
The distant past may soon disappear from existence, and we may once again repeat mistakes that would never come to be.
This world will forever change, and we along with it.
But we should not forget what our ancestors left behind, for in this mechanical world it is no longer unusual to no longer recall the things that must be remembered.
In the time we've spent on this blue planet, the past we have made will in a way always remain.
But if we forget, they would forever be in the embrace of time, to never be recalled again.
If the past rusts away, we may as well disappear.
