Time

Forgotten time,
Lost time.
Time keeps ticking,
Even through the clock's hands, its gears and pieces, are rusting away.
Your voice,
Your warmth.
Is lost in time's abyss.
The rusted swords of the battle field,
Are like the days we spent together.
You who fought to protect,
You who gave up happiness.
I can no longer see you,
Time keeps passing by without a second thought.
My memories of you,
Are my light in the darkness.
I can no longer touch you.
The rusted swords and pieces of the clock,
Will someday fade away.
I can no longer hear you.
In the silence,
I cry.
As time keeps ticking,
you keeping getting farther from me.
Forgotten time,
Lost time.
Your voice,
Your warmth.
Is lost in my abyss.
For soon my time will end.
You who fought to protect,
You who gave up happiness.
I can no longer see you,
I can no longer touch you,
I can no longer hear you.
I'm like the broken clock,
And like it I will fade away.
Into forgotten time,
The lost time,
The abyss.
I will fade away.
