If our hearts could connect as one,
then maybe the sadness will disappear. If we could understand one another, then
just maybe, the door that leads towards tomorrow will appear.
What is it that you're looking for on
the horizon’s edge, in the blinding light of the sun? Why is it that we always
search for something beyond our reach, that alone we may never reach. If you
could spread your wings and fly away, where will your heart take you within
this world?
If our
hearts could connect as one, then maybe the sadness will disappear. If we could
understand one another, then just maybe, we could spread our wings and fly away
into the eternal sky. I hope that one day you and I, we can be free of the
chains that bind us. To be able to understand each other, to bring an end to
this pointless war, is my wish.
