Underneath the stars, upon a bed of flowers
is where you and I made a promise. A promise that you once forgot and that only
my heart remembered. Time goes by without a second thought, for what it leaves
behind. That's just the cruel reality of being able to live. The sands of the
hourglass keep falling down, creating a river of time before us. Whenever I
close my eyes, I can still see your smiling face.
Until the day we reach eternal sleep,
please stay with me before we reach our journey's end. I want to know what true
happiness is and to see my wish come true. For all I really want is to have a
long life filled with the love of those I too love.
In the beginning I asked you to answer this
to me. That if I died today would you remember me even after my death? Then you
didn't even say a word and walk away, back then you still thought that I was
weak. But even the weak can, become stronger for those they love.
Even as the hourglass falls, I still hold
onto my most precious memories. Of all our awkward and even special, times we
spent together. At the start we both went the long way before we met didn't we.
And we both got hurt as time went by, from all the loneliness and sadness we
once felt.
