A Bebop La Lee, Come With Me (Rewrite)

White tulips, a basket of thyme,
Oh, a bebop la lee da,
Come with me.
An old red radio,
A field of golden wheat.
A gathering of orange blossoms and clovers,
Decorate the old truck.
Oh, a lee la dee,
A bebop la-na na,
Come with me.
Rings of ivy and holly,
The old store down the street.
The broken stone wall,
Stacked rusted cans,
A worn-out slingshot.
Gathered freesias and marigolds,
Tied with mistletoe ribbon.
Adorn the streets.
Static on the radio,
A bebop la-na lee.
White tulips, a basket of thyme.
Oh, a lee la dee,
Come with me.
Penny candy,
Scent of cooking food.
A line of stalls,
Games with toy prizes,
A menagerie of people,
Painted faces,
Crowns of flowers and plastic.
Oh, a bebop la la lee,
A lee la dee,
Come with me.
Oh, la lee lay,
La lee da.
A gathering of orange blossoms and clovers,
Decorate the old truck.
Let’s take a ride.
The red static radio,
Is it broken or have you found something?
Oh, a lee la oh de,
A bebop la-na na,
Come with me.
Let’s wear masks of wood and paint,
Tied with buttercup string.
Don’t touch the thorns,
Don’t pluck the wilted roses.
White tulips, a basket of thyme.
Driving past a field of golden wheat.
Stacked rusted cans,
A worn-out slingshot.
Gathered freesias and marigolds,
Tied with mistletoe ribbon.
Adorn the streets.
Colored dust,
Glittering fire sparks.
Shower everything in color.
Oh, a lee la oh dee,
Come with me.
Penny candy,
Scent of cooking food.
The old store down the street.
Painted faces,
Crowns of flowers and plastic.
Beware hidden words,
Hidden lies.
Smile,
Laugh.
Don’t hide behind the plastic mask.
Oh, a bebop la lee,
A lee la oh dee,
Come with me.
Oh, la lee lay,
Dee da ma dee.
La oh lee da day,
Let’s sing,
Alongside the old radio.
A gathering of orange blossoms,
White tulips, a basket of thyme.
Rings of ivy, holly, and buttercups.
Freesias and marigolds,
Tied with mistletoe ribbon.
No need for the field poppies,
Hold tight the soft blue forget-me-nots.
Oh, a bebop la lee dee,
Come with me.
La da da,
La da dee, hello.
Dee da dee,
La la la.
The static is gone.
Bebop a la na dee,
Hello again.
Cedarwood masks,
Adorned with red roses.
Holly and hawthorn.
Oh, a bebop la-na na,
Come with me.
Don’t consume the hemlock,
Avoid the wilted roses.
Come with me.
Oh, a bebop la-na na,
A lee la oh de,
A lee la day.
White tulips, a basket of thyme.
Oh, a bebop la lee da dee,
Come with me.
Do you have the old red radio?
Past the fields of golden wheat,
In the old truck.
Oh, a bebop la-na na,
A la na na.
Will you stay with me?
Oh a da da dee,
Static, bebop oh le la day.
Tune the radio,
Bop a la, la la lee.
Gather sundew, peppermint, and sage.
Oh, a bebop la lee,
Come with me.
Come with me;

Da-da-da-da/Are You Gonna Stay Or Leave?

Crack-snap,
Ra-ta-ta-tap,
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
Ta-ta-ta-da,
Under pressure,
I can’t tell if there’s gonna be an implosion or explosion.
Crack-snap,
Ta-da-da,
Da-da-da,
Tired of it all, I wanna break the system.
Just because I’m nice doesn’t mean I wanna be,
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
I’m sick of tolerating cr@#,
Tat-ta-ta-da,
I’m done with simply surviving!
Tat-ta-ta-tap,
Crack-snap break!
In my ruined, overgrown corner of reality,
I may be a contradiction,
But at least I can fight back.
Da-da-da,
Glass can cut,
And stars do more than glow.
Rat-ta-tap,
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da,
I’m burning,
Burning hot!
Crack-snap break!
Da-da-da-da,
Under pressure,
I can’t tell if there’s gonna be an implosion or explosion.
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
Out of the cracks surrounding my heart,
Forget-me-nots are sprouting from my chest.
Ra-ta-da-da,
Ra-ta-da-da,
Crack-snap,
Wanting to live,
I’m gonna burn in defiance!
Tat-ta-ta-da,
I’m sick and tired of the cr@# the world gives me.
Rat-ta-tap,
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
Cracked and broken,
Being me is what I am,
It's what no one wants,
But it's what I’ve become.
Crack-snap,
Rat-ta-tap,
Blame the world,
Ra-ta-da-da-da,
Da-da-ta-da-da,
Pop-shatter-break!
I’m continuing my story the way I want to!
Ra-ta-da-da,
Tired of it all, I’m gonna break the system.
Ra-ta-da-da,
I’m here to stay.
Da-da-ta-da,
Burning hot,
Ta-da-da,
Under pressure,
I’m not going to tell you if there’s gonna be an implosion or explosion.
Da-da-da-da,
Da-da-da-da,
So, are you gonna stay or leave?

Stars Don't Glow, They Burn

Covered in scars, I’m asking why,
Where did it all go wrong?
Torn down, somehow still sane,
I’m fighting against pain,
But life must love my suffering.
Cursed to endure,
I want to burn it all down,
To piece this broken mind together,
But my screams have rusted away.
Numbing the pain away,
Is the only reason I still stand.
Cracked and broken,
Is what I am,
It's what no one wants.
Where did it all go wrong?
Was it your plan for me to fall?
Was this what you wanted?
Becoming a contradiction,
I’ve become my best enemy and worst friend.
Don’t ask me to endure for you,
You're not the one I want to fight for anymore.
I’m fighting back!
I won’t let you tear me down!
After all, the stars don’t glow, they burn.
Covered in scars,
Cursed to endure,
I’m fighting against pain,
But life must love my suffering.
Torn down, somehow still sane,
I’m asking why,
Where did it all go wrong?
Burn it all away!
I’m sick of being broken!
You're not the one I’m fighting for!
No more holding me down!
No more holding me back!
I’ll burn away the pain!
So, you can’t break me anymore!
Torn down, somehow still sane,
My screams have rusted away,
But my words still remain.
Don’t ask me to endure for you,
You're not the one I’m fighting for!
Was it your plan for me to fall?
Was this what you wanted?
Cracked and broken,
Is what I am,
It's what no one wants,
But it's what I’ve become.
It’s what I’ll embrace in defiance!
Cursed to endure,
I’m fighting against pain to live,
But I’ll burn it all away!
After all, the stars don’t glow, they burn,
And living is what I’ll do;

Breathe

Breathe, burn.
Breathe, sing.
Breathe, scream.
Scatter Fraxinella and Firethorn,
Beware the broken Cinnabar,
Hold tight the Sapphire Holly and Clovers,
Talalu, lulu.
Breathe, burn.
Breathe, sing.
Breathe, speak.
Lalulula,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós A'ríiwa,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós Lú’Éz.
The Birch endures,
The Opal Yucca blooms,
The Yew quakes.
Breathe,
Talalu lulu.
Hold tight the Sapphire Dogwood and Snowdrops,
Hold close the Topaz Marigolds.
Breathe,
Lalulula,
Sol’lú'ree Ag'naä Na'vi'aós.
Burn and release,
Lalu lalu,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós A'féynkaä
Na'vi'aós A'fénós Lú’lata
Lalelula,
Sol’lú'ree Ag'naä Na'vi'aós.
Breathe.
Beware the broken Cinnabar,
Head the sign of Red Spider Lilies,
Don’t consume the Nightshade,
Be wary of the false promise of Fool’s Gold.
Breathe, burn.
Breathe, sing.
Breathe, scream.
Breathe, speak.
Scatter Fraxinella and Firethorn,
The Crocus bloom among the Opal Yucca,
Talalu, lulu.
Weave Holly and Clover,
Intertwine Dogwood and Snowdrop,
Mix with Topaz Marigold,
Hold tight the Sapphire Forget-Me-Nots,
Beneath the Yew and Birch.
Breathe,
Lalulula,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós A'ríiwa,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós A'féynkaä
Tulalalu,
Sol’lú'ree Ag'naä Na'vi'aós,
Lalelula.
Na'vi'aós A'fénós Lú’Éz,
Na'vi'aós A'fénós Lú’lata,
Salalu, lalula
Burn and glow,
Breathe oh life,
Breathe and burn.

Burn Like a Star

I can’t find words,
I can’t color the canvas,
When I try to untangle the mess inside.
All I know, all that I can understand in a way I can explain,
Is that I’m a star without a constellation,
Shining in its cradle, both yearning and afraid to shine in tandem with others.
Blessed and cursed with emotions of love and hate,
Trust and distrust,
So, I’ve become my best enemy and worst friend,
A contradiction.
Struggling to find words and colors,
To express what’s inside.
I want to burn like a star,
For just a moment, unafraid of hurting or being hurt.
Yet the world and I have caged myself,
Even while freeing myself,
Still a contradiction,
Fighting itself to live or die.
Am I strong?
Or am I weak?
For still being here,
I wonder if I’m sane,
In my understanding of what can’t fix this.
It makes me ask if I have a reason to live,
Or if my reason for living is hurting me,
Like a double-edged blade,
Is asking the question the same?
I can’t find words,
I can’t color the canvas,
When I try to untangle the mess inside.
All I know is that I’m a star without a constellation,
Shining in its cradle, both yearning and afraid to shine in tandem with others.
Am I a contradiction?
As I break and rebuild,
Again and again,
Is this strength, is this growth?
I’ve become my best enemy and worst friend,
A contradiction.
I want to burn like a star,
Unafraid to live,
Not fighting itself to live or die.
I wonder if I’m sane,
While struggling to find words and colors,
To express what’s inside,
Is this enough?
Can I burn like a star?

Move Forward

Move forward,
Ignore the pain,
The wish to disappear,
For them, you can’t stop.
Keep walking,
Don’t lose your balance.
Focus on standing tall,
You can’t fall down.
Like metal, you can’t bend,
Like stone, you have to endure.
Keep going,
Not for yourself but for them.
Don’t become the reason for their tears,
Remain for their sake,
To not break their hearts.
Move forward,
Like you’re expected.
Ignore the pain,
The wish to disappear,
For them, you can’t stop,
Even if there’s nothing left to keep you going.
Simply hide the pain,
The sorrow that weighs you down.
Keep walking,
Don’t lose your balance.
Focus on standing tall,
You can’t fall down.
Keep going,
Not for yourself but for them.
Move forward,
Like you’re expected.
Keep walking,
Don’t stop,
You can’t disappear.
Numb the pain,
Ignore the tears.
Move forward,
Remain for their sake,
For them, you can’t stop,
Even as you’re breaking apart.
Move forward,
Keep walking,
Don’t stop,
Keep going,
Move forward;

From Far Above

Sleeping child,
Star from far above,
Resting, dreaming,
Of a flower’s bloom.
Raining starlight,
Dancing stardust,
Fragments of time.
An ocean within the sky,
A void within the sea,
A sky within the vacuum.
Singing, weaving,
Threads become emotions,
Emotions become thoughts,
Thoughts become words,
Words become a song,
A never-ending tapestry.
Sleeping child,
Star from far above,
The dreamer’s flower blooms,
Below an endless world of stars.

Hold them Close

A spouting seed,
A field of golden wheat,
A meadow of flowers,
A wordless prayer.
Time marches on without care,
Memories remain or are lost,
The white pages become yellow and stained,
As the gears of the clock slowly rust away.
A lone tree,
A leisurely stream,
A gentle breeze,
A soft, loving voice.
To stardust everything shall return,
To start it all anew,
For new life to grow,
Even stars must someday die.
A downpour of rain,
A mountain covered in snow,
A river that leads to the sea,
A desert in bloom,
An ever-growing dream.
Villages become towns,
Towns become cities,
The land changes and shifts,
History is recorded,
As time marches on without care.
A spouting seed,
A field of golden wheat,
A meadow of flowers,
A wordless prayer,
A song without a name.
Do hear my voice,
Do you know my name,
Do you know,
Do you remember?
A sea breeze,
A fallen tree,
A forest full of life,
A burning fire,
A lingering memory.
Buildings rise and fall,
Nature reclaims its land,
Time embraces the lost,
Even as the stars continue to glow.
Tell me,
Ask me,
A wordless prayer,
Hear me,
Know me,
A soft, loving voice,
Remember,
Hold them close,
An ever-growing dream,
A song without a name,
Do hear my voice,
Do you know my name,
A lingering memory,
Don’t let time allow it all to slip away.
A spouting seed,
A field of golden wheat,
A meadow of flowers,
Time marches on without care,
The white pages become yellow and stained,
To stardust everything shall return,
To start it all anew,
For new life to grow,
Even stars must someday die,
Hold them close,
And be reborn,
Don’t allow me to take away the time you have,
With those you love.

I Am a Witch

I am a witch,
Loved yet hated,
Fire is my domain,
My blessing and curse.
For though I give warmth,
I may burn all who touch me.
With this life, I swore to live,
But here I am alone,
Longing for a love I can never have.
Bitterness and joy,
Envy fills my heart,
When I see the life I wished to have,
The life I can never be given.
I am a witch,
Fire is my domain,
My voice is my spell,
A blessing and a curse,
For who would trust my words?
Who would dare listen?
I swore never to waste my days away,
But here I am, hidden away,
As sadness drowns my already broken heart.
My fire gifts warmth,
But I may burn all who touch me.
I am a witch,
Loved yet hated,
Cursed to be forever alone.
I give, I sing,
I scream, I pray,
I burn,
Till my bitterness and joy,
The envy and sadness,
Till it all becomes ash,
Till I, the witch,
Are no more,

Sparks Light the Fire

Before the bonfire,
Beneath a canopy of branches,
Flowers bloom within the sky,
Drums are the thunder,
Gunpowder fills the air,
Drops of fading rain,
The wind are voices,
Echoing through the earth.
Darkness glows,
Sparks light the fire,
Burning, dancing,
Lanterns made of embers,
Drift and fall like leaves.
Rusted metal red with time,
Breaks and turns to dust.
Ticking clock,
Broken glass,
Before the bonfire,
Dancing, falling,
Drifting, rising,
Turning,
Flowers bloom within the sky,
Drums are the thunder,
Gunpowder fills the air,
A reflection of the stars,
Drops of fading rain,
The howling wind,
Voices echo through the earth.
Glowing darkness,
A canopy of branches,
Sparks light the fire,
Burning, dancing,
Lanterns are embers,
Rust the leaves,
Glass as dew drops.
Dancing, falling,
Drifting, rising,
Turning,
Trees become a bed,
Of blooming seeds.
Untilled earth cracks,
Sand falls,
Lanterns made of embers,
Drift and fall like leaves,
Drops of fading rain,
The wind are voices.
Before the bonfire,
Sparks light the fire,
Burning, dancing,
Flowers bloom within the sky,
Drums are the thunder,
Dancing, falling,
Drifting, rising,
Turning.
Darkness glows,
Gunpowder fills the air,
Beneath a canopy of branches,
Seeds spread,
A reflection of the stars.
Rusted metal red with time,
Breaks and turns to dust.
Ticking clock,
Broken glass,
Drops of fading rain,
The howling wind,
Voices echo through the earth.
Dancing, falling,
Drifting, rising,
Turning,
Sparks light the fire;

My Voice Eternal

Blooming, incinerating,
Bells ring,
Petals fall as ash,
Seeds rise as flames.
Stone becomes the sand slipping through my fingers,
Threads intertwine,
Tightening, breaking, enduring,
As red stains white, the darkest black.
Ií’äa Há'lóuse,
Wilting, renewing,
My song is a spell,
My voice, a silence piercing the cacophony,
Ií'ëná Na'nii'aós Eterrin.
The sword is mine to wield,
The truth is mine to hold,
My fate is my own,
Ha'íya Iích'bäa A'fénós Ií'ëná Lata'ëith.
Scales of burning blue,
Fangs of piercing white,
Wings that embrace,
A blackened sword,
A cursed life.
Ií’äa Há'lóuse,
Blooming, incinerating,
Bells ring,
Petals fall as ash,
Seeds rise as flames.
Sand becomes the glass reflecting the unbreakable truth,
Threads are weaved,
My sword severs the fraying string,
As red stains white, the darkest black.
Na'vi'aós, Na'vi'aós Na'fáyä,
Wilting, renewing,
My song is a spell,
My voice, a silence piercing the cacophony,
Ií'ëná Na'nii'aós Eterrin.
The sword is mine to wield,
The end is mine to embrace,
Fate is mine,
Ha'íya Iích'bäa A'fénós Ií'ëná Lata'ëith.
Spreading wings,
Of burning blue,
Ií'ëná Däi'draon,
Ií'ëná Lâ'saé'yu,
Our voices resound into a roar,
A single cry,
A wordless prayer.
Na'vi'aós Thä'teé Na'vaós A'fénós Lú’Éz,
Blooming, incinerating,
Wilting, renewing,
I am here.
Bells ring,
Our cry resounds,
Wings embrace,
A blackened sword,
Ií'ëná Tö'këir'ris Lú'yunâ.
Petals fall as ash,
Seeds rise as flames.
Na'vi'aós,
Threads intertwine,
As red stains white, the darkest black.
My song is a spell,
Our voice, a silence piercing the cacophony,
Ha'íya Iích'bäa A'fénós Ií'ëná Lata'ëith.
I am here,
Ií'ëná Nâ'fáyu,
Fate is mine,
Ií'ëná Lú’lata,
My voice is eternal;

Time Moves On

An endless blue sky,
Dancing fields of gold,
Distant moons on the horizon.
Flowers bloom,
Sand drifts in the wind,
Time moves on.
Ruins of another time,
Another life,
Return to dust.
The stars burn,
The sun shines,
White dots the sky like ships upon the sea,
As seeds grow upon barren earth.
Steel machines lie unmoving,
Lights flicker from within cracked glass,
The sounds, the memories of yesterday,
Echo throughout hallow stone.
An endless night sky,
Fields of green,
Starlight pierces through the dark,
Calm waters become a mirror,
A reflection, a dream,
As trees sway in the wind,
Time moves on.
Above and below,
The memories remain,
Crystal untouched,
Gemstones uncarved,
Alongside rusted metal,
Reclaimed by the earth.
Waves tear down mountains,
Coral colors the barren floor,
Creatures hunt deep below,
Where light cannot reach,
Islands lie in wait till they rise towards the clouds.
An endless blue sky,
Dancing fields of gold,
Distant moons on the horizon.
Flowers bloom upon ruins,
Sand drifts in the wind and gathers,
Time moves on.
Ruins of another time,
Another life,
Overgrown and lost.
Sunsets and drifting clouds,
Steel machines lie unmoving,
Darkness rests within cracked glass,
The sounds, the memories of yesterday,
Remain silent.
An endless night sky,
Fields of green,
Ghosts pierce through the dark,
As trees sway in the wind,
Stones untouched,
Waves tear down mountains,
Islands rise towards the clouds.
An endless cycle,
Within an eternal sky;

Patterns

Fragments fall,
Voices echo in the void,
Forever glowing,
Patterns fill the sky.
The blue of night reflects the galaxy,
Nebulas sway in solar winds like branches on a tree,
Dark matter and gravity dance with space-time.
Ghosts fill the emptiness,
Remnants shine,
Before the dark swallows them.
Colors and light,
Darkness and void,
Fire and cold,
Stardust gathers to create.
Fragments fall,
Voices echo in the void,
Forever glowing,
Patterns fill the sky,
As I weave the threads to fill the barren sky.
Comets soar, planets form,
Moons mirror suns,
Reflections of light,
The blue reveals the distant galaxy.
Forming, creating,
Destroying, dying,
Renewing.
Dreams and voices mix,
Flowers and trees,
Drifting sands and towering mountains,
Water becomes ice,
Rock melts and hardens,
Rain falls within the wind.
The blue of night reflects the galaxy,
Nebulas sway in solar winds like branches on a tree,
Dark matter and gravity dance with space-time.
Ghosts fill the emptiness,
Remnants shine,
Before the dark swallows them.
Again and again.
Colors and light,
Darkness and void,
Fire and cold,
Stardust gathers to create.
Dreams and voices mix to echo in the void,
Patterns fill my mind,
As I weave the threads to fill the endless sky.
Fragments fall,
Full of stardust,
Forever glowing,
As patterns, as memories,
Of everything:

Fate

Entangling, enchanting,
Broken and beautiful,
Glass flowers bloom and shatter.
Tiny fragments like thorns,
Peirce skin and draw red.
Pieces form constellations with crimson threads,
Burning fiery red till it snaps.
Falling, falling,
Entangling, enchanting,
Broken and beautiful,
Is that the future?
The flower of my dreams blooms,
Till the colors become cold.
Dancing, intertwining,
Distorting,
The mirror reflects the truth,
My colorless, hopeless self,
Fate’s choice for me.
Broken and beautiful,
Glass flowers bloom and shatter.
Tiny fragments like thorns,
Peirce skin and draw red.
Pieces form false constellations with crimson threads,
Burning fiery red till it snaps and falls.
Entangling, enchanting,
What lies beyond,
What colors can I weave into the sky?
Dancing, intertwining,
Distorting,
I strangled my hopeless self,
Piercing the mirror with crimson threads,
The colorless flower of my dreams blooms,
From the ruins of fallen stars,
Fate is mine to weave.
Entangling, enchanting,
Dancing, intertwining,
Distorting, forming,
Broken and beautiful,
Glass flowers bloom.
False constellations shatter,
Pieces form constellations with opal threads,
Painting the void and weaving colors into the sky.
Is that the future?
The flower of my dreams blooms,
Colorless till fragments pierce my skin,
Entangling, enchanting,
The mirror reflects the truth,
My truth.
This fate is mine to create;

Alight in Fire, I Burn

Alight in fire, I burn
A dance everlasting,
Embers like leaves,
I stand alone, unrelenting,
Free and unbound,
I fill the sky, the void, with my light.
Painted in colors,
Vibrant and cold,
A flame that reveals the truth,
I’m mortal and immortal,
A beginning and an end,
A cycle never-ending,
Till they cease to be.
Alight in fire, I burn
A dance everlasting,
I hold many names,
Stories weaved from my light,
Embers like leaves,
Free and unbound,
I give and take,
Just as I open and close the paths of fate.
I do not fear,
The rain and bitter cold,
The enduring earth,
My own flames,
My death and rebirth,
I’m mortal and immortal,
A dance everlasting,
I stand alone, unrelenting,
Painted in colors,
Vibrant and cold,
I embrace worlds, I smother them,
I chase the dark, I create the dark,
Even as I fill the sky, the void, with my light.
Alight in fire, I burn
A dance everlasting,
Embers like leaves,
Painted in colors,
Vibrant and cold,
I stand alone, unrelenting,
Free and unbound,
I hold many names,
I give and take,
Just as I open and close the paths of fate,
A flame that reveals the truth,
I do not fear,
The rain and bitter cold,
The enduring earth,
My own flames,
My death and rebirth,
I’m mortal and immortal,
A beginning and an end,
A cycle never-ending,
Till it all ceases to be;

Folded Paper

Folded paper,
Winter nights,
The quiet only silenced by cracking embers,
Bits of stardust glowing in the dark.
Ink stains and dried paint,
Crystals dangling from simple threads,
Grey dust sprinkles the dark void,
A reflection upon calm waves.
Scattered like petals,
Parts litter an old workshop,
Tools hang upon worn wood,
Scarred by use, a record of another time.
Folded paper,
A piece of the sky,
Stained and worn,
Yet just as bright.
Crackling embers, dangling crystals,
Light reflects upon white silver snow,
Like moon dust beneath the sun.
The smell of oil and paint are a memory,
The scent of wood and water a calming thought,
The quiet sounds, a soft song.
The cold is far away,
The void beyond my reach.
Ink stains and dried paint,
Scattered like petals,
Tools hang upon worn wood,
Crystals dangling from simple threads,
A record of another time, a dream.
Words are silent,
Words are powerful,
The folds hold them back.
Grey dust sprinkles the dark void,
The moon’s reflection upon calm waves.
Folded paper,
Winter nights,
A piece of the sky,
Stained and worn,
Yet just as bright.
Memory and dreams,
Thoughts and emotions,
Loud yet silent,
The quiet only silenced by cracking embers,
Bits of stardust glowing in the dark.
Crystals dangle from simple threads,
Worn and used,
They dance in the memory-filled air.
Light reflects upon white silver snow,
Like moon dust beneath the sun.
The smell of oil and paint are a memory,
The scent of wood and water an emotion,
The quiet sounds, a gentle song,
A record of another time, a dream.
Winter nights,
The quiet only silenced by cracking embers,
Bits of stardust glowing in the dark.
Ink stains and dried paint,
A piece of the sky,

Scattered like petals,

Thoughts and emotions,
Loud yet silent,
Powerful yet gentle,
It's all a dream,
All a memory,
The folds hold them back,
Till they’re unfurled,
As ink upon folded paper;

Chasing Memories

Memories fill my mind,
Emotions fill my heart,
As I wish for just a moment,
To be a child once more.
To hold your hands with those of a child,
To see the world through innocent eyes,
And be held in your arms once more.
Why can’t I, for a moment,
Halt the hands of time?
Why aren’t you here with me?
I’m still here,
I’m still here to live.
A broken heart,
A broken star of glass.
Even if everyone else goes,
I hope to endure the fire,
Even if everything is left broken and scarred,
Here I hope to stay,
Strong and brave for you,
Till I reach the end,
That final chapter.
Memories fill my mind,
Emotions fill my heart,
As I wish for just a moment,
To be a child once more.
To laugh with you as you lift me up,
And show me the joys of life.
I once thought,
I once wished,
That we would never have to say goodbye.
I once dreamed of a day,
When you would be the one to let me go,
When you two would dance together with me,
And see me grow.
Now I wander other worlds,
As I dream of what could have been,
As I dream to forget the pain.
Yet I know,
There is still so much to experience,
So much to see and hear,
I’m still here,
Here to live.
I can’t halt the hands of time,
So all I can do is watch seeds grow,
See metal rust and flowers bloom,
As stars shine and die,
And watch the world before me change,
Wishing that you were here.
Memories fill my mind,
Emotions fill my heart,
As I wish for just a moment,
To be a child once more.
To forget all the worries,
And simply let the days go by,
Smiling all the while.
Now I Long for a warmth I may never have,
A fragile wish.
Why can’t I, for a moment,
Halt the hands of time?
Why aren’t you here with me?
I’m still here,
I’m still here to live.
I close my tired eyes,
When tears threaten to drown the light,
When it all becomes too much to bear,
Because I am delicate patched glass.
Yet for you, I’ll endure it all,
The pain and grief,
I’ll be indomitable,
In spirit and heart.
I’m still to live.
And here I hope I stay,
Even if everyone else runs away.
Even as memories fill my mind,
Emotions fill my heart,
As I wish for just a moment,
To be a child once more.
To hold your hands with those of a child,
To see the world through innocent eyes,
And be held in your arms once more.
Why can’t I, for a moment,
Halt the hands of time?
Why aren’t you here with me?
To laugh with you as you lift me up,
And show me the joys of life.
To forget all the worries,
And simply let the days go by,
Smiling all the while,
With the heart of a child.
I’m still here,
A broken star of glass,
Chasing those memories,
Fighting to keep them close,
To never forget,
Till the final chapter,
When I can finally tell you,
I lived, and I never forgot,
Just how much you love me

Caught in Twilight

Caught in twilight,
I’m lost within my cage,
Yet free to grow,
To bloom.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
A memory of the past,
Reborn in the future,
Enduring in the present.
Even as stars implode and fade,
I burn brightly with solar light,
Even as my shadow grows cold.
Wounds brand my skin,
Scars sear my broken heart,
Yet I endure,
I remain.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
Standing in the twilight.
Lost within my cage,
Yet free to bloom,
To cry out.
For what reason do I exist?
I’m a star dancing on the horizon’s edge,
Fighting to exist,
To protect something,
But is that who I am?
Trapped in twilight,
I’m lost within my cage,
Yet free to bloom,
To exist.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
A memory of the past,
Reborn in the future,
Enduring in the present.
Death is far behind,
Till I kill my light,
And slay my darkness,
I’ll merely endure.
Even as stars implode and fade,
I burn brightly with solar light,
Even as my shadow grows cold.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
Existing in the twilight.
I’m lost within my cage,
Yet free to bloom,
To cry out.
Who am I?
Caught in the twilight,
I’m lost within my cage.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
I’m right here.
I’m a star dancing on the horizon’s edge,
I burn brightly with solar light,
Even as my shadow grows cold,
I fight to exist,
To protect something,
But is that who I am?
Wounds brand my skin,
Scars sear my broken heart,
Yet I endure,
I remain.
Lost,
Trapped,
I’m alone and afraid.
Stars burn,
Dwarfs glow,
Imploding and fading,
It's never-ending.
Can you hear me?
Do you see me?
I’m here,
I’m right here,
A memory,
Existing,
Alone,
Blooming,
Fighting,
Enduring,
I’m right here,
I’m here,
Forever caught in twilight;

Fighting to Survive

Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored.
I’m here, burning from the inside out,
As my heart is freezing and splintering.
Fragmented, I’ve become numb to the pain,
To the emotions I should feel.
Yet the turmoil they create,
Weighs down my broken form.
Flames ignite,
Waves consume,
All while I watch from afar.
I’m fighting to survive,
The clawing shadow dragging me down,
Drowning me in suffocating thoughts.
I chain it up, keep it caged,
But nothing can hold it back forever,
Nothing can save me from it.
Apathy is my release,
Dreams are my escape.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored.
I feel as if I’m nothing,
An emotion nothing can dispel,
Not even those I love.
It’s a curse,
My emotions,
My empathy,
My very existence.
And if no one cares if I disappear,
I’ll curse them to bear my pain.
I’m tired,
Tired of everything.
I want to dream,
To escape,
Yet my reality keeps me here.
I’m here, burning from the inside out,
As my heart is freezing and splintering.
Fragmented, I’ve become numb to the pain,
To the emotions I should feel.
Yet the turmoil they create,
Continues to break my will.
I’m cursed to fight for my existence,
To battle the shadow dragging me down,
Drowning me in suffocating thoughts.
I chain it up, keep it caged,
But nothing can hold it back forever,
Nothing can save me from it.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored,
I’m fighting to live,
I scream,
Do I even exist?
I want to curse the world,
For bringing suffering where there should be none,
Let them bear my pain.
I want the flames to burn it all to ash,
For the waves to come crashing down,
And swallowed by crushing gravity in the void.
Fragmented, I don’t want to care,
I don’t want to feel anymore,
My will to live is waning.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
I’m here,
I’m burning from the inside out,
As my heart is freezing and splintering.
Fragmented, I’ve become numb to the pain,
To the emotions I should feel.
Yet the turmoil they create,
Weighs down my broken form.
I’m fighting to survive,
The monster dragging me down,
Drowning me in suffocating thoughts.
I chain it up, keep it caged,
But nothing can hold it back forever,
No one can save me from it,
Not even myself.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored.
Flames ignite,
Waves consume,
All while I watch from afar,
In silent apathy,
I don’t want to feel any longer.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored.
I’m here, burning from the inside out,
As my heart is freezing and splintering.
Fragmented, I’ve become numb to the pain,
To the emotions I should feel.
Yet the turmoil they create,
Weighs down my broken form,
Breaking my will to live.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
Forgotten and ignored,
I’m fighting to live,
I scream,
Do I even exist?
I want to curse the world,
Let them bear my pain.
I want the flames to burn it all to ash,
For the waves to come crashing down,
And swallowed by crushing gravity in the void.
I’m burning from the inside out,
As my heart is freezing and splintering.
I’ve become numb to the pain.
I’m fighting to live,
Battling the monster dragging me down,
Drowning me in suffocating thoughts.
I chain it up, keep it caged,
But nothing can hold it back forever,
Not the ones I love,
Not even myself.
Here I stand,
Here I exist,
I am here,
Forgotten and ignored,
I’m fighting to live;

In Stardust

In the stardust, seeds bloom.
Darkness melts into the light,
To eternal twilight.
From ashes, the stars rise,
Burning bright till their final moments.
Nothing lasts forever,
In this ephemeral world,
Not even you.
In time’s embrace, we grow and thrive,
Till our chapter ends.
Once it is written, it can never be undone,
Only remembered.
The ripples you created still reverberate across the sea,
And stain the pages with memories.
I can’t undo your fate,
Just as I can’t see mine.
I can only hope that you are sleeping peacefully,
Within your endless dreams.
In the stardust, seeds bloom.
Darkness melts into the light,
To eternal twilight.
From ashes, the stars rise,
Burning bright till their final moments.
Flowers grow and wilt,
Their petals scatter upon the wind.
I can only watch time move on,
Even as the tree’s roots embrace the earth.
Rain falls and returns to the ocean,
Mountains rise and fall,
I can only see the footprints they left behind.
Nothing lasts forever,
In this ephemeral world,
Not even you.
I can’t undo your fate,
Just as I can’t see mine.
I can only hope that you are sleeping peacefully,
Within your endless dreams,
And wish that cruel reality didn’t take you away so soon.
In the stardust, seeds bloom.
Darkness melts into the light,
To eternal twilight.
From ashes, the stars rise,
Burning bright till their final moments.
Nothing lasts forever,
In this ephemeral world,
Not even me.
In time’s embrace, we grow and thrive,
Till our chapter ends.
Once it is written, it can never be undone,
Only remembered.
The ripples you created still reverberate across the sea,
And stain the pages with memories.
I can only hope and pray,
That your wounded heart is cradled in everlasting warmth,
Even as tears fall from mine.
In the stardust, seeds bloom.
Darkness melts into the light,
To eternal twilight.
From ashes, the stars rise,
Burning bright till their final moments
Just as you did,
Just as I will someday.
I can’t undo your fate,
Just as I can’t see mine.
But it will be okay,
The pain remains but your light,
Will forever shine within the stardust;
