The blue of the sky, reminds me of your gentle eyes. The
drifting clouds, reminds me of that summer day. In the wind I can hear our
melody, being played on that music box.
The warmth we felt that day, is so close and yet so far
away. I can still see the slumbering stars, I want to reach out for them but
I'm too afraid to.
In the time that we were apart, we forgot yesterday as we
grew up. We both let ourselves drift into loneliness, and became too afraid to
again embrace that feeling of love. The silence hurt more than then a cacophony
of sounds.
I could no longer recall that unclear and off-pitch yet
beautiful symphony. And as I look into the mirror I can see your smiling face,
as we stood underneath the starry sky.
As you run (as you run) I can hear the song of the earth
(the song of the sky) it’s as if your flying, into the distant tomorrow, into
yesterday.
I still hold that insignificant (yet unforgettable moment)
as if any second I may lose it; as I hold your letter I remember every word
you've said to me. And I let the warm of your voice envelope me.
I sing, I sing. I turn every moment, of our time together
into the notes of our symphony. So it may keep echoing within our hearts.
As we run (as we run) I can hear our melody (being played on
that music box) that unclear and off-pitch yet beautiful symphony, is echoing
with a trace of yesterday.
I dream that insignificant (yet unforgettable moment) the
day we first said, I love you. And as we journey on towards the future,
yesterday the present becomes, a part of us...
